Watch Out! The Rules
1. Used to + infinitive
Describes a past habit, state, or situation that is no longer true now.
I used to wear glasses.
(= I don't wear them now.)
2. Be used to + -ing/noun
Describes something that is currently normal or familiar for you.
I'm used to wearing glasses.
(= This is normal for me right now.)
3. Get used to + -ing/noun
Describes the process of slowly becoming accustomed to something.
I'm getting used to wearing glasses.
(= It is slowly becoming normal for me.)
